Self-curing, primer/finish with tenacious bonding and abrasion resistance qualities. Its galvanic action resists undercutting. Excellent stand alone performance in high temperature or long-term atmospheric exposure. Finish with specialized topcoats to improve aesthetics, increase long-term performance or protect the primer from attack in aggressive exposures.

Series 91-H2O | Hydro-Zinc

- Generic Description Aromatic Urethane, Zinc-Rich
A two-component, moisture-cured, zinc-rich primer for the interior and exterior of steel potable water tanks. Provides outstanding long-term corrosion resistance when used as a primer in conjunction with other Tnemec potable water tank coatings. It cures quickly and can be topcoated the same day at surface temperatures down to 35°F (2°C). Series 91-H_2_O has no maximum recoat time, making it ideally suited as a primer for both sides of plate steel surfaces in water tank fabrication shops. Application methods include “dry-fall” under certain conditions (see Application). *Note:* When used in conjunction with cathodic protection, anodes or impressed current systems should not provide current demand more negative than –1.05 volts relative to a copper–copper sulfate reference electrode half-cell.

Series 94-H2O | Hydro-Zinc

A single-component, moisture-cured, zinc-rich primer for steel structures, including the interior and exterior of steel potable water tanks. Commonly used in commercial, industrial, and marine markets in various applications to provide outstanding long-term corrosion resistance when used as a primer in conjunction with other Tnemec coatings. Series 94-H_2_O has no maximum recoat time, cures quickly and offers rapid recoat at surface temperatures down to 35°F (2°C). *Note:* When used in conjunction with cathodic protection, anodes or impressed current systems should not provide current demand more negative than –1.05 volts relative to a copper–copper sulfate reference electrode half-cell.

A high-performance, two-component, zinc-rich, silicone copolymer that offers galvanic protection to steel substrates for extended corrosion protection up to 1000°F (538°C). An excellent primer for use with selected topcoats as part of a corrosion- and heat-resistant coating system. Requires an exceptionally low minimum 250°F (121°C) heat cure prior to placing in service.
