The City of Edmonton, Ky., used Tnemec coatings on a local water tank a few years ago and knew exactly which coating system they were going to specify again when it came time to erect a new one. This time around, the project team needed to match the colors of the local high school so they used a sports jersey to find the perfect hue for the school’s logo and mascot on the tank. Once they had the right color, applicators created the one-of-a-kind logo using Tnemec’s high-performance fluoropolymer finish, HydroFlon, and the result is a tank that the community can be proud of for decades.
