CB&I originally erected this tank in 2008 and painted it 18 years ago with Series 701 HydroFlon. The painting contractor, American Suncraft, knew there was a better way to overcoat the previously applied coating system than what was specified, which would provide a better outcome with less weight and coating stress on the original paint system. Eric Boling of American Suncraft proposed using Tnemec Series V700 to the owner, and they studied the option and chose to use it.
