The million-gallon water tank in downtown Hutchinson, Kan., is now shining bright high above the city, freshly coated with a high-performance coating system from Tnemec. The bright blue tank and its logo, which incorporates the colors and eight-pointed star from the town’s official flag, were recoated in 2020 using Tnemec’s UV-resistant finish coat, HydroFlon. The new clean and crisp design can be seen from all over town, making this tank not just a highly valuable piece of infrastructure, but rather a highly visible source of community pride.
