Starting as an employee with Taylor Coating Sales, Erik Otten’s solid service to clients eventually earned him an invitation into agency partnership then ownership.  Educated at Concordia College in River Forest, IL. Erik’s is a  NACE Certified Coating inspector and his work usually involves water, wastewater and water storage tanks. As for his strong communication skills and knowledge of proper mix ratios which are so critical to his work today, Erik credits those attributes to a job he held earlier in his career: bartending. On Saturday’s Erik can be found at the Chicago Blaze Rugby Football Club where he is currently the President and was Captain of the 2019  Midwest Championship team.
