Lauderdale, Fla., has been named 2007 Water/Wastewater Contractor of the Year by Tnemec Company, Inc., a recognized leader in the wastewater industry for more than 50 years, according to Vaughn O'Dea, director of sales, Water/Wastewater Treatment.

This marks the second consecutive year that Southland has received the distinction. The award was first presented in 2005 to Llamas Coatings, Inc., Smyrna, GA.
