Product Resource Representative
Join us at Tnemec Company as we are seeking full-time candidates for a newly created, entry level Product Resource Representative position. Tnemec is a leader in exciting coating technology in the Architectural, Water, Wastewater, and Industrial market spaces. The products we develop will go on to some of the world's most successful and visible projects, such as stadiums, skyscrapers, power plants, and refineries. We are looking for high energy, self-motivated, and dedicated candidates that are personable, focused, and capable of enhancing long-term relationships with our current and potential customers. As a member of the support team, you will be directly involved in deployment of new technologies, introductions of new systems, and provide trouble shooting assistance. The ideal candidate would have experience in industrial or related fields, be able to identify specific application needs, and assist with product selection. The candidate should have the ability to work closely with our management team, technical teams, and field sales representatives, to provide industrial coating protection system solutions. Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Science, or Liberal Arts

- Limited travel within the United States

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Detail Oriented

- Good organizational and communication skills

- Demonstrates proficiencies in scientific studies or technical work

- Strong account management and relationship builder

- Capable of selling coating materials and application methodology

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)


Entry-Level Sales Position
Tnemec Company is offering four months of intensive sales training in its Kansas City offices and laboratories for highly motivated, personable individuals who are looking for a rewarding career in technical sales. This is a salary-based training program. Candidates must have a 4-year degree and must be willing to temporarily relocate to Kansas City for the program. A career in sales with Tnemec Company entails frequent travel, long hours, and lots of excitement. Successful graduates of this program have demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, ease with public speaking, strong aptitude for technical learning, and adaptability to a wide range of working environments. Selection criteria for this program involves interviews and sponsorship by your local/regional Tnemec sales office. Many locations currently have positions to fill.
